Thermally insulated glass box constructed around a glulam frame on the banks of the Derwent River in beautiful Derbyshire, the project was commissioned by a local architect for his own home to maximise light into the new extension. The lightweight glulam frames and almost frameless glazing meant minimal foundations and builders work were required to create the glass box.
